INTERNAL SHELLThe Burford Hot Tub has a smooth fibreglass internal shell and is specifically designed for ease of cleaning and allows for only the highest levels of hygiene. Each interior shell is hand crafted, this prevents air pockets from forming. The fiberglass interior is a fantastic low maintenance option on a wood fired hot tub.
The fiberglass shell has been designed so that your shoulders are under water making it perfect for enjoying your Eco Tub all year round.
Other benefits to the Fiberglass shell include convenience and economy, as unlike the fully wooden tubs our models with fiberglass do not have to remain permanently filled with water and can be drained while not in use. Fully wooden wood fired hot tubs have a tendency for the wood to dry out and contract if not filled with water and leads to a very leaky hot tub!
INSULATED COVER – STAYING WARMOnce the tub has been heated, the insulated cover (which is provided as standard) improves heat efficiency by 30%.
With the insulated cover replaced, by the following morning you can dip straight back in with a cup of tea! That same evening, the heat up time would only be around 30 minutes.
