Pre-delivery Requirements

Before purchasing a hot tub, please keep the following considerations in mind:

  • A flat, stable, and level base is required for the hot tub. Suitable surfaces include concrete, paving, or slabs. Manufacturers recommend leaving an additional 300mm around the hot tub for proper clearance. Hot tubs are not equipped with adjustable feet.
  • The electrical setup needed for your chosen model.
  • The dimensions of the access route to ensure the hot tub can be delivered safely.
  • Extra space for accessories such as a cover lifter, if purchased.

Not meeting these requirements may result in an unsuccessful installation and could lead to additional delivery charges.

Access Requirements

Garden Access

Please provide photos of the path to your garden along with measurements so our delivery coordinator can confirm the hot tub will fit through gates, fences, and other obstacles.

IMPORTANT: Photos of the access route must be supplied before an installation date can be scheduled.

Key points: Remove fences if necessary, clearly indicate steps, maintain a 1m wide route from start to final position, and allow at least 2.1m height clearance.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

32 Amp Electrical Supply

If your hot tub requires a 32amp supply, a qualified electrician must be contacted to arrange installation. 

This includes:

  • Rotary isolation switch
  • 6mm armoured cable (size confirmed by electrician)
  • 32amp breaker to fuse box
  • Additional components as needed

The isolator should be within 2-5 meters of the hot tub, with a secondary armoured cable of at least 5 meters or enough length to reach the far side of the hot tub for proper connection to the PCB.

PLUG & PLAY Electrical Requirements

For PLUG & PLAY models, a waterproof 13A socket must be available within 2 metres of the hot tub front panel. We recommend upgrading to a 16A commando socket for optimal performance. The socket must meet safety standards.

PLUG & PLAY models do not include a cable. You will need to provide suitable armoured cable with either a 13A plug or 16A commando socket as per your setup.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the electrical installation meets the correct specifications and that all required connections are ready on delivery day.

Delivery, Installation and Commissioning

Hot tubs will be delivered to the address provided. If financed, delivery is restricted to the financed address. Our two-person installation team will position the hot tub, fill it using your outdoor tap, and connect it to the prepared electrical supply as outlined in our requirements.

Please refer to our Terms of Service for policies regarding returning to complete a delivery or commissioning that could not be finished on the scheduled date.

Payment

Payment for Hot Tubs, Swim Spas and Sauna’s must be made at the latest 7 days prior to the agreed delivery date. Or 4 weeks from arrival into the UK stock, whichever become sooner.
