Clearwater Spas is committed to protecting the health of our environment and manufacturing energy efficient hot tubs that help to conserve our natural resources. We continually work to improve our designs and manufacture methods to reduce the environmental impact of our product. We are honored to build the best spas.
Our engineering, research and design team begins all new hot tub development with a focus on energy efficiencies, ergonomic comfort, therapeutic value, using environmentally friendly products and providing a safe working environment for our employees. Our fit and finish detailing not only shows outside our spas, but also is throughout the inside as well.
The EcoSpray we use to strengthen the underside of our shells is a green, environmentally friendly material and process. This EcoSpray does not produce any VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compound) that pollute the atmosphere. We take pride in building our spas different than others.
Clearwater Spas interlocking RIM (reaction injection molding) cabinets are the most durable and beautiful in the industry – and was awarded ‘Product Innovation of the Year’ by the Bayer Science Corporation. In addition, the Signature RIM cabinets are backed by the best 20-year warranty in the industry. The world’s strongest cabinet system is “Hummer-tested-tuff!” Shown above is a Hummer SUV on a RIM cabinet corner piece without any damage or cracking.
Clearwater Spas RTB (reflective thermal barrier) insulation is 12% more energy efficient than spray foam insulation. Our rigid insulation panels, with double-sided foil, reflects and recycles the heat from the internal equipment keeping the cabinet warm and dry. With an insulation R-20 value, the RTB insulation system provides better energy efficiency than other spas. Our RTB insulation also contains natural salt borates which are undesirable to insects and rodents. The removable service panels on all sides provide for easy upgrades and maintenance. Other brands with spray foam spas are messy and costly to service.
Clearwater Spas acrylic shell system has three layers of strength support plus expanded steel support in heavy traffic areas for the strongest shell system in the industry. Our environmentally-friendly EcoSpray™ strengthening process emits NO or ZERO V.O.C.’s (volatile organic compounds) – unlike fiberglass resin shells that emit toxic styrene V.O.C.’s into the air that can have adverse health effects.
Clearwater Spas uses a PVC pillar support system which will not rot, mold, rust or otherwise breakdown like other manufacturers that use wooden or steel supports. Many other manufacturers fill the entire skirt interior with low density foam which can deteriorate and attract unwanted rodents to its warm and moist environment. Clearwater Spas PVC pillar support system, combined with the RTB insulation and Durafloor, will give you a lifetime of structural support unmatched by any other.
Every house needs a foundation to lift its components off the cold ground, removing the structure from moisture, bugs and other negative influences. A hot tub should be built the same way. Our weather-resistant, insulated Durafloor™ is silicone-sealed and screw bonded together with the hot tub cabinet for a solid foundation. Made from 100% recycled ABS, the Durafloor™ system insulates, protects and helps to prevent heat loss that can be drawn into the cold ground (referred to as the ‘heat sink’ effect). Our RTB insulation contains natural salt borates which are undesirable to insects and rodents.
Located just outside of Seattle in Woodinville, Washington, U.S.A. – Clearwater Spas factory is committed to building the best hot tubs in the world. “Our commitment to excellence goes back to the very first spa we manufactured, back in 1976, and is evident in everything we do” said founder, Ron Clearwater. Our employees take pride in our product brand integrity, quality and customer satisfaction everyday.
Clearwater Spas specially designed jets and seating configurations focus the massage therapy to target specific areas of the body and to reproduce many professional massage techniques such as:
Soaking in a Clearwater Spa is truly the perfect therapy for your body. As carefully designed jets do their work, millions of air bubbles are injected into the warm water flow to caress your entire body. Clearwater Spas engineers all of our spas to be hydraulically balanced. This provides you control of water volume and air flow for every jet from 0 – 100%. With this ability to control volume and pressure, combined with ergonomic seating, you can create the jet massage that is right for you.
This jet allows Clearwater Spas to group multiple jets together in a small area. These jet groupings allow the hydrotherapy to be maximized in leg, arm and shoulder areas for your ultimate comfort.
This jet provides massaging relief to the neck and shoulder as well as areas affected by discomfort from carpel tunnel syndrome and arthritis. This jet can be directed to maximize your ultimate comfort, as it is fully adjustable. All of our commonly sized jets are interchangeable.
Direct maximum power flow of warm water hydrotherapy on the larger muscle groups where you need it the most. This fully adjustable jet can be directed and focused on areas that need a deep tissue massage. All of our commonly sized jets are interchangeable.
This jet spins water through two ports creating a swirl of water to massage smaller muscle groups. The spinning action propels the flow of warm water similar to a “kneading effect” massage. All of our commonly sized jets are interchangeable.
This jet spins a higher volume of water through two ports creating a swirl of water to massage larger muscle groups. The spinning action propels the flow of warm water similar to a “kneading effect” massage. All of our commonly sized jets are interchangeable.
This jet spins water through two ports and then propels it through the tri-swirl blades creating a pulsating massage to smaller muscle groups. All of our commonly sized jets are interchangeable.

The exclusive hydrotherapy action created in Clearwater Spas is a mixture of warm air blended with a balanced warm water flow. This Clearwater Whisper Flow Technology begins with a powerful, energy efficient high performance pump engineered to deliver high volumes of water while reducing the noise common with other brands. An exclusive manifold plumbing design guarantees an even distribution of water to each therapy jet. Warm air is introduced to the water stream, as air from the heated interior of the spa cabinet is pulled through a hydrotherapy valve. The result? The most stimulating hydro therapy massage you can imagine – and only from Clearwater Spas.
Over the last decade, sports medicine and physical rehabilitation professionals have increasingly come to rely on the benefits of hydrotherapy. When your body becomes buoyant, aches and pains drain from your joints as pressure is relieved. As your body temperature warms, lactic acids are cleansed from your muscles. As the jets stimulate your body, endorphins – the body’s natural painkillers – are released.
You know hydrotherapy feels good, but what do the experts say? The National Arthritis Association strongly endorses the use of hot water therapy for the treatment of arthritis pain. Hot water hydrotherapy can also be helpful for people who suffer from fibromyalgia and experience chronic pain in their muscles and joints, as well as other challenging symptoms.
Maybe you don’t have arthritis, and maybe you aren’t a professional athlete, but you still deserve a daily, relaxing getaway from worry and your mile-long to-do list. Enjoying a Clearwater Spa can bring you a lifetime of therapeutic pleasure in relieving the stresses, aches and pains of everyday life. Slip out of your cares and into the warm comforting waters of a Clearwater Spa today. Let us help you change your life forever.

A commitment to quality and excellence.
Our commitment to excellence goes back to the very first spa we manufactured, back in 1976, and is evident in everything we do. Everyone, from the maintenance staff to the quality control department, works hard to keep customers happy and provide only products of the highest quality. This commitment leads us to continuously evaluate our methods to maintain our position as a technology leader.
“We are proud to build quality hot tubs in the USA since 1976.”
The focus of everything we do at L.A Spas is on you and it all starts with construction. When you purchase a L.A Spa, you can be sure you’ve made one of the smartest and best investments possible. The complete satisfaction of our customers is our objective and the result is evident in every spa we produce.
Steel Frame used in the L.A Spa’s Premium Series has the highest strength to weight ratio of any building material available. The light-gauge steel frame provides greater structural integrity than wood, as well as superior corrosion protection for a much longer life. This steel structure design allows for complete serviceability of the entire structure and all mechanical parts. Essentially, the spa can be serviced and brought back to factory specifications right in your backyard. We call this feature “appliance grade”. It is important to consider the serviceability of your hot tub just as you would any other home appliance.
The ABS Sealed Base is an integral part of the support structure in a L.A Spa hot tub. It’s one-piece construction provides a rugged foundation that seals the bottom of the spa, locking in heat and sealing out moisture.
Northern Exposure® is the ultimate hot tub insulation system. This unique thermal barrier technology recycles the free heat energy for more efficient heating and lower energy costs. All four sides of the spa, plus the floor and cover are lined with reflective copper material to reflect radiant heat energy generated from the pumps back into the spa. Heat is absorbed back into the plumbing helping raise and maintain water temperature. Finally the entire exterior of the hot tub is wrapped in 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation, the same incredible material utilized in winter clothing. This three layer patented system ensures energy created by the spa, stays in the spa.
Available on Premium models only
The L.A Spas Energy Insulation System features eco-friendly recycled insulation made from recycled natural fiber. This insulation contains no chemical irritants, is treated with a borate-based solution to prevent mold/mildew growth, pest infestation, and acts as a fire retardant. L.A Energy has been approved by the U.S. Green Building Council to replace urethane foam commonly used in “foam filled” hot tubs. The “foam filling” process in conventional spas can produce as much as 50 lbs of volatile organic components (VOC’s) which are harmful to the environment. Our new energy efficient system also allows for easy serviceability and can be re-installed to factory specifications within minutes.

Submerge Yourself In Purity
We’ve taken our cue from nature combining the benefits of ozone and UV light. The purification process starts with 100% continuous filtration. This means all of the water is continually being filtered and purified. The quality of water is one of the most important features to consider when evaluating a spa.
New CleanZone Cartridge
The CleanZone™ Ozone System is a cartridge oxidizer that is used to oxidize and clean your spa water. This water purification system will automatically maintain healthy, crystal clear water while reducing chemical maintenance.
The use of the CleanZone™ II UVC light is the same technology utilized in many communities around the world to purify drinking water. CleanZone™ II kills 99.9% of microorganisms, bacteria, viruses and parasites, making this the perfect system for your hot tub sanitization system.
When the CleanZone™ Ozone System comes together with the CleanZone™ II UVC light technology, our dual filtering system ensures that the maximum amount of water passes through the filter before it re-enters the hot tub. What does this all mean? Crystal clear water, minimal maintenance and a healthy, purifying experience for you
